HORSE PARADE
Maya tapped her fingers pensively on the table glaring down at the scrabble tiles.
Little did she know I was driving her jalopy through a horse parade, transporting a harp, marimba, and mariachi band.
GARDEN COURT
These folks sure know how to party! The dance floor buzzed like a hive. A fancy footed flamenco fellow swirled a woman's wheelchair in tight circles as he furiously stomped to the beat.
We finished playing and the crowd roared for more inciting a three song encore...otro, otro, otro.
BIRTHDAY PARTY
I sat with the band in ready position waiting for the birthday girl to arrive as a woman tapped me on the shoulder. "Are you sure your at the right place? I think you must belong at that wedding on the other side of the park."
It was then that I began to see the essentiality of getting a traditional mariachi costume.
